My name is Jens Erik Nygaard. I am born in 1957 i Lier, Buskerud, Norway. I am educated biologist from University of Oslo og I am working 50/50 as teacher og in a firm selling science equipment to Norwegian schools. I have been into photograpy for many years, more or less. Birdwatching is my hobby, thats why I mostly take pictures of birds, but I try to cover other parts of nature photography too. Since I bought my first digital equipment things have speeded up and results have beenbetter. Myself I like to watch good pictures on a big screen, therefore I offer you my a picture gallery with pictures in a higher than average size (800 x 600).

In additon to this picture gallery, I am webmaster for a couple of Norwegian birding websites: Norsk Ornitologisk Forening  Buskerud  and Linnesstranda Nature reserve  which is my favorite place for birdwatching and photograpy. You find many of my pictures on this websites.

I have placed my pictures on several Norwegian and international photo sites:  PhotoSig, Foto.no (N), Photo.Sight (N) og Photo.net. I also have a gallery on the birding site Birdforum. On the latter a couple of my pictures has won the monthly competition.
